The “Get Cooking with Clint” site is intended to supplement the column by the same name, which appears weekly in the Southside Times. Although this site is still in its infancy, material (recipes, techniques) will be added rapidly. Like the beloved bumper from the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, there’s “more to come.” And again: Thanks for reading.

Very impressive! You should mention your catering experience as well as those great ice sculptures you have created!
What are your thoughts on an-aside – providing recipes and tips on just plain-ole Hoosier home-cooking – staples from fried chicken to ribs and meat loaf – mac and cheese to biscuits and gravy? I know there is talent and a demand for the culinary dishes, but is there a place for improving suppers at the end of the day as well as Sunday dinners? Stupid?
Not stupid at all. In fact I’ve been toying around with the idea of making something like that (local, Hoosier comfort-food) a sub-category in the recipe section.
Thanks for the suggestion!

Dan and Gwen
Dan and Gwen: It’s a true honor to receive a message from the esteemed proprietor of the beloved Pineapple Willy’s. Thanks for dropping me a line. Not a dart game passes by without some brief, sentimental flashback of our infamous tournaments in the “game parlor.” (Other cherished memories: nighttime horseshoes, cook-outs, camp-outs, Halloween parties, chainsaw carving from the top of an extension ladder. Good times.) Hearing from you has been the highlight of my day! Give Tim and everyone else my regards. Miss you guys too.
